Editorial: Supreme Court ruling on warrants for phone searches strikes correct balance

In a victory for the approximately 200 million Americans who carry smartphones, the U.S. Supreme Court has unanimously ruled that police must obtain a warrant before rifling through the vast store of information harbored in the cell phones.
