Cabinet candidates seem assured of re-election yet still build warchests

Both Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam and Chief Financial Officer Jeff Atwater are shoo-ins for re-election on Nov. 4. But that hasn't stopped either man from major fundraising efforts: Each candidate is headed toward more than $3 million in campaign contributions.
