Education board quietly settles pair of battles

The State Board of Education has settled a pair of fights at the center of a larger power struggle for control of Indiana's education system. Democratic state schools Superintendent Glenda Ritz, Republican Gov. Mike Pence and their respective supporters have spent more than a year in a variety of disputes.
