WASHINGTON - The chairman of the House Intelligence Committee warns that if the U.S. does not put Special Forces on the ground in Iraq and Syria, then the conflict with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria will last decades. Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Mich., is calling on the U.S. and Britain to put Special Forces on the ground to help Iraqi and moderate Syrian forces combat the terror group that has beheaded two American journalists and two British aid workers on camera.
