The White House is expected to nominate Ashton Carter as the new Defense Secretary to replace outgoing Pentagon chief Chuck Hagel, but Former Texas Congressman Ron Paul said not to expect much as US foreign policy doesn't make sense. Ashton Carter is a career Department of Defense man and spent at least five years holding the number two and three positions.
