In an effort to try to deny the obvious and convince Americans that climate change is not caused by human actions, politicians have, for years, cited "scientists" like Wei-Hock Soon, who claimed that he found scientific evidence to support the theory. Climatologists have been skeptical of Soon's research and with good reason.
