While the Padres opened spring training with Matt Kemp and James Shields and other new faces, the Chargers have collaborated with the Raiders on a stadium proposal in Carson, Calif. The Chargers have said they remain committed through 2015 to seeking stadium solutions in their current cities, though such statements have hardly assuaged the concerns of San Diego's football fan base.
