Lobbyist William Filan buys house in Lakeview for $2.4 million

Veteran lobbyist William Filan has paid $2.37 million for a six-bedroom, 6,000-square-foot brick house in West Lakeview. A former top aide to Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan , D-Chicago, Filan, 64, long has counted the city of Chicago among his clients, along with red-light camera operator Redflex, Aetna, Tishman Construction and JPMorgan Chase.
