Battle on to boost police, fire pensions

If public pension-calculation reforms made by the state Legislature in 2010 are not changed, newly hired firefighters and police officers across the state will retire "eligible for food stamps," said David Lang, president of the Professional Fire Fighters of New Hampshire.
