Braley and Ernst face off in first Senate debate

Democrat Bruce Braley and Republican Joni Ernst have largely campaigned using scripted television ads and carefully controlled public events in the dead-heat Iowa Senate race. But their first televised debate on Sunday night will put them in a new setting, answering questions on a range of topics before voters--and the stakes are high.
