Do foreign trade deals help or hurt U.S. workers? Obama and Congress locked in debate

Shortly before President Barack Obama urged Congress in his State of the Union address to help expand United States exports, an Ohioan in Congress joined her Democratic colleagues to decry the harm, she said, that foreign trade deals wreaked on Ohio and the nation. "Since NAFTA passed -- this is an incredible figure -- the United States has racked up $9.5 trillion in trade deficits, and a loss of 47,500,000 outsourced jobs," Rep. Marcy Kaptur said at a Capitol Hill news conference .
