There was jostling Sunday on the Democratic presidential campaign trail between a top Hillary Rodham Clinton supporter and ex-Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley after he took a swipe at the former secretary of state, saying the presidency isn't a "crown to be passed between two families." "Let's be honest here, the presidency of the United States is not some crown to be passed between two families, it is an awesome and sacred trust to be earned,\ and exercised on behalf of the American people," Mr. O'Malley said on ABC's "This Week with George Stephanopoulos."
