Laws to expand gun rights, help combat domestic violence and expand the punishment for human trafficking in Oklahoma are about to go into effect. They are among about 250 laws approved by the Oklahoma Legislature and signed by Gov. Mary Fallin this year that go into effect on Saturday, Nov. 1. One measure makes it lawful for a person who is licensed to carry a handgun to store it out of view in a locked vehicle when the vehicle is left unattended on school property.
