Iranian MPs threat US with canceling Geneva nuclear deal

By Umid Niayesh - Trend: At least 80 Iranian MPs have signed a bill that will oblige the administration to cancel the Geneva nuclear deal, if the US Congress imposes new sanctions against Iran. Spokesman for the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iran's Parliament, Hossein Naghavi Hosseini said that the bill is not presented yet to the parliament's presiding board, the official IRNA news agency reported Jan. 28. He said that according to the bill if the US side takes new steps to impose sanctions, Iran would cancel the Geneva nuclear deal and resume its suspended nuclear activities.
