Judge refuses to allow Renzi to remain free pending appeal

A federal judge in Tucson is refusing to allow former U.S. Rep. Rick Renzi to put off serving his prison sentence in a corruption case. U.S. District Judge David Bury this week denied a motion by Renzi to grant bail to Renzi pending the filing of a planned appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.
