Republicans marching toward curbs on Ritz's authority

Republicans who are frustrated with Democratic state schools Superintendent Glenda Ritz are moving forward with legislation that would shift influence over education policy away from her. Ritz's supporters in the Legislature protest that Republicans are disenfranchising voters who in 2012 elected Ritz.
