While conventional wisdom says that she's likely to lose to U.S. Rep. Scott Perry next week, Thompson says she's driven by her desire to help people. Thompson, who lives in Harrisburg, is running against Perry, a Republican from York County, for his seat in the 4th U.S. Congressional District.
